GoFundMe: Best in Crowdfunding App Reviews

We are needing to raise money for my breast cancer treatment and this app has been a god send!!! The easy app to use is so simple and quick. Def recommend to anyone in bad time and needing to raise money. Thank you!! :D

I would not recommend this site to anyone ! I had made a account for a dear friend of mine its been nothing but trouble ! They take about 20% of each donation and now we are currently trying to get money left after they take 20% of each donation for weeks now and its been nothing but several emails from different peoples no real help and no money into my friends bank account!

I installed this app so that I can donate, not start a campaign. Now I have an unwanted campaign going that I cant even delete within the app.

Gofundme is an excellent resource that not only allows for donations to be transferred from donor to donee, but its also a great way to network. The gofundme team is professional and helpful. Im happy I set my pride to the side and created a gofundme. After my financial goal is met, I plan to campaign for others with gofundme accounts.

I dont want to start a campaign. I want to give to a campaign. How odd that I cant do that from this app.

says sign up with Facebook. ok. did that. then you have to login. use Facebook or email? use Facebook since I just signed up. and..... doesnt work. neither does email. awesome app

Ive requested an email confirmation multiple times because Gofundme continuously notifying me that Im unable to receive payments from my fund raising campaign I see this to be un user friendly.

Love the concept of gofundme but very disappointed when I read that you take 5% of money raised. My niece needs every bit of the money raised so she and her son and husband can come back to USA to bury their 2 1/2 month old baby ... Her husband is in the Navy so they only have a short period of time. When I downloaded app and it then said 5% of money will be charged I was really uoset

Love the new app design. You can now save a template thank-you note which makes it easier to send donors a nice message on the go!

I love the GoFundMe org and how easy theyve made it to do a fundraising campaign, but the new mobile app update that appeared yesterday is horrible for me. It seems to have a lot of glitches: I am completely unable to post offline donations or access campaign activity! The only way I figured how to access my account is to click "Help" and then re-sign in; then it takes me to what looks like the old app and all my info is there. I have an older iPhone 5c; Is your update only designed to work on newer phones? Or? Help! :-)

I dont like the app. since the latest update on 6 June 2016. I preferred the interface of the previous version. On the new one, I cant share my updates across social media, with the exception of Facebook. I didnt even know it had posted my recent update to my account until I went on FB later.

Clean, simple, and makes sharing so easy. I love this new app and the way it makes sharing my campaign with friends and family seamless. The video slideshows are great also!!!! :)

I had to go through the whole sign-up process, just to realize it is only useful for creating my own campaigns, not for searching other initiatives within their database!
